Legal or illegal – time to paxitize
Many laws, rules and methods are illegal from the point of view of Peace or Universal Human Values. They are contrary to the basic Lex Mater principle: “all human beings are equal and, like Nature, deserve to be treated with due respect always and everywhere.”
Many laws, rules and methods are “legalized illegalities” introduced to serve the interests of a limited group, while harming others and/or Nature.
Whether legal or illegal depends on the morality or mindset or on the law and rules applied by those who judge.
In some countries, anything that is not specifically forbidden by law seems to be considered legal.
Is it? When “no rules” exist, does “anything goes” become the rule?
Time to redefine legal and illegal on the basis of Lex Mater or Lex Majai or Natura Mater’s Law – genuine heart-to-heart humanity or universal human values. Time to paxitize laws and rules to make them correspond.
The basic principle of “respecting people and respecting Nature always and everywhere” should be part of any rule or law. When not, it cannot be considered (totally) legal from the point of view of Lex Mater or Peace as defined as the respect of universal human values. These values are very often breached or ignored at the personal, corporate, local, national, international and other levels.
